At NewStart, we believe the message of Jesus
Christ is timeless. We believe that He is as relevant today as He was 2000
years ago. We strive to proclaim Him in a way that is appropriate for the
21st century.
God seems to be up to something. He is moving!
and there is a new type of church sweeping the country. These churches
are leaving behind some of the traditional forms of ministry and daring
to try new ways to proclaim a very old message.
Some of these new methods are:
 Contemporary Music:
Does God only like music that was written
200 years ago?
 Video Projection:
Computer technology has changed the way we
"do church." Hymnals have been replaced with power-point presentations
so we can sing with our heads up as if we’re singing to God. After all,
we are!
 Different ways to preach the gospel:

Video, audio, and drama are all new ways to communicate
a very old story.
 Casual Dress:
We want you to be comfortable at NewStart.
If that means your "Sunday best," that’s great. If it means jeans, that’s
OK too. At NewStart, you’ll find people dressed from everything from dresses
to Dockers, and from ties to t-shirts. Dress as you see fit. After all,
Christianity is a matter of the heart. God sees through our "church clothes."
